Paul has been a machine shop instructor in a Voc Tech School for 35 years. He has been restoring cars for as long. Starting out, he did a couple of ‘57 Chevy convertibles and then started doing Corvettes.  At this time, he has done two-54’s, 56Resto-Mod, three-58’s, 60 Big Brake, two-61’s, 59 race car and is now doing a 66 Big block Roadster.  All cars scored 99+ points with the NCRS and Bloomington Gold.  Ten cars have received a Top Flight, eight cars have received the Duntov Award and Bloomington Gold, and one has received the American Heritage Award. Paul is also a 400 plus level NCRS Master Judge. He is retired from teaching and spends all of his time working on cars, making and restoring parts.

           Restoring his first Corvette, an early ‘58, Paul found it difficult locating early ‘58 parts. With a strong machining background, he started to reproduce some of the items. Some of the items were steel trunk plates, hood cable supports, carburetor studs with rolled thread, and modification of reproduction antennas to pass PV Judging. There are now over fifty items, and the list keeps growing.  As others saw the quality of his work, they asked if he would make them parts as well. Now some of the large reproduction houses purchase his parts for their catalogs.
